i'm 38 days away from melbourne and i couldn't be more excited!
already, i'm making plans with melbournian friends and ex-sydney friends to catch up and party.

the only day i have free is the friday, the day after i arrive. so, here is what i have planned for myself:

- catch a train out to the city.
- do some photography work.
- find an alleyway cafe and have breakfast whilst reading the herald sun.
- coffee at hudson's.
- shopping at melbourne central.

than at about 4pm, i have a date at TGI friday's.

i really can't wait til i'm there.
and i'm even more excited that i'm currently looking at buying a house there and soon to be a citizen. i can't wait for the day. i really can't!

i've been kinda busy with life lately and i think it's about time i sit and type some sort of update. this is what's been happening in the last fortnight or so..

- getting my 5th tattoo; a twin anchor, born 11 days after my first one. i'm loving them though.
- finishing up late shifts at the hospital. the next four solid weeks are early shifts however, i will still be having long days ahead. urgh!
- becoming totally addicted to big brother 08. i've only missed 10 minutes of this season. but every free internet time i have i'm looking BB08 news and goss.
- thinking about taking up a one year nursing course provided by the hospital. i'd have to give up my current position at the hospital which i'm not too keen on.
- having said that, i'm hating the fact that i can't get an easy transfer to another hospital for a similar position. a lot of friends are packing up and moving interstate; melbourne or brisbane. i don't have the luxury of doing so.
- i'm at a crossroads with my head and my heart; my heart wants to move to melbourne but my head says stay and travel next year.
- if i do go overseas, i'd be applying for a one year working visa.
- missing michael and melbourne so much! giving more reason to move interstate.
- being anti-social. no best friend, no family, no boys.. just being alone. i dig it.
- i have a serious ebay addiction at the moment. i've just purchased: a new camera, electric blanket, black satin bedsheets and hot pink satin bed sheets, a sweater hoodie, manic panic lipstick, dresses and skirts. i have to stop!
- living on the poverty line. i have no money til payday wednesday this week. living on basic staples and no luxuries like starbucks and soups. (blame ebay!)
- visiting a tarot reader and almost bursting into tears over what she's told me. there's a bright future ahead of me.

i got my fourth tattoo today; an upside to having a brother learning to tattoo and needs skin to "practice" on. i got an anchor tattoo'd on my left ankle and not because i had a fling with a sailor in july last year.
i got influenced by the song, dead men tell no tales by the receiving end of sirens. in the song there's a line, "you left our ankles for anchors" - i think it was what made me get it, actually.
i main reason i got in the first place: its supposed to remind me of dream big but don't have my head too far up in the clouds, keep them firmly on the ground.
i'm getting a twin/mirror of the same tattoo on my right ankle possibly next week. i've already paid for it (yes, i pay my own brother to tattoo me) and i'm really excited about getting it, even though this tattoo hurt like a bitch because the outline was done with a five-gauge. yeeeeow!
after these tattoos, i'm thinking at getting my left forearm done and swallows on my lowerback.

08. ever since i was turned 21 i've had a sudden onset of short-term memory loss. i can still remember anything before 21, but unless i write it down i won't remember.
09. i have a crush on a different guy everyday.
